Sydney Harbour Private Cruise Hire

Sydney Harbour Private Cruise Hire

We felt like movie stars – sipping champagne as we cruised the glistening Sydney Harbour aboard our luxury lounge…

Summer music vibes played from the stereo, water lapped the sides of the boat and we couldn’t believe we didn’t need a celebrity salary to enjoy a first class experience! VisitingNSW teamed up with the gorgeous Kerstin from My Manly Blog and UCruise Sydney for a birthday celebration we’d never forget. Take it away Kerstin…

Affordable Private Cruise Hire with Ucruise Sydney

Sydney Harbour offers a boatload of opportunities when it comes to sailing and cruising experiences. And for water-loving travellers who want to see the iconic sights, such as the Sydney Opera and Sydney Bridge in luxury and style, Ucruise Sydney is the perfect choice. You can even tailor your own cruise – choosing where and when you want to go… and let’s be honest, there’s lots of choice!

We were lucky enough to enjoy a 2 hr cruise on a sunny afternoon on the “Floating Lounge” – a fun and luxurious vessel ideal for socialising in small groups. The boat has the unique advantage of cruising right up onto sandy beaches due to its low clearance, which means we could easily hop on and off as we explored the harbour’s surrounding coves.

It was my belated birthday present and I loved celebrating the occasion on the water in style with my friends.

Our cruise started at the Aquarium Wharf in Darling Harbour, where we met UCruise owner and our private skipper, Emmanuel. Originally from Paris, where he runs similar cruises on the River Seine during European summers, Emmanuel knows all the secret beaches and beautiful places around Sydney Harbour. He took us through the “washing machine” – the wavy bit before you go under the harbour bridge and across to the Opera House side, where we took some amazing shots and enjoyed the awesome views without spilling a single drop of Champagne (or beer for that matter!).

Leaving all the driving to our fun and friendly skipper, we floated along to Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay and Rose Bay. We even beached our vessel on the shore at Watsons Bay to grab a coffee from the popular Beach Club, without wetting our feet!

It was an amazing experience for us all . We loved the comfy, stylish lounge and felt very special and posh rocking up onto the beaches in our private boat! Unfortunately, none of us took swimmers (it was winter, after all) so if you go during the summer months, make sure you take yours to dive right into the crystal clear waters. If you book a 4 hour (or more) cruise, you can even make use of UCruise’s Sea Scooters – which look ridiculously fun!

And finally, we cruised along to our chosen final destination to be dropped off at home in Manly, enjoying every second of our cruise.
