Kayaking & Camping in Dunns Swamp – Wollemi World Heritage National Park

Kayaking & Camping in Dunns Swamp – Wollemi World Heritage National Park

There’s so much more to New South Wales than world class beaches and coastline. Why not explore Country NSW at the World Heritage listed Wollemi National Park?

It’s just a couple of hours North West of Sydney. Take a 2 minute vacation with us to Dunns Swamp (or Ganguddy as it’s known to local Aboriginal people) and get a taste for the local!

We pitched up alongside the picturesque Cudgegong River, nestled in-between Gum Trees and nature. There’s so much to see and do! Kayaking and hiking – breath-taking views to discover and amazing animals to spot – I lost count of how many long neck turtles we saw!

And Mudgee town, famous for it’s fantastic wineries, is a just over an hour drive away. Perfect for a day trip and a bit of self-indulgence! And while you’re out and about, check out the quaint townships full of art and local produce in the surrounding areas.

You might not, however, feel like venturing out of the campground – and we wouldn’t blame you. It’s bliss!

Enjoy a 2 Minute Vacation at Dunns Swamp
